Vallean Jackson was born & raised in Birmingham, AL. A Graduate of Jacksonville State University with a BA in Communication & a minor in biology. Jackson is also a journalist that has written for various publications & loves being a journalist just as much as she loves writing books. Her genres of books range from anthologies, romance, urban fiction, children's books, to self help with more to come.
Jackson is also a mother and was inspired by her daughter Valiyah to bring her long time dream of a children's book to life. She is also an entrepreneur and blogger with more she is striving to achieve.
